Heart Lake United Church - Worship at 10:30 am on Sundays

Rev. Jean Leckie

To live an active faith connecting God, people and community.

I am walking in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in Brampton in support of Regeneration Outreach Ministry (which is a great organization that does amazing things for the most vulnerable citizens of Brampton). Some of you are probably walking in your own community on Feb. 24th. If you want to take this opportunity to be generous (I know you have many!) just use THIS LINK. It will take you to my page on Coldest Night Brampton.  Rev. Jean

During the Season of Lent we will consider together the Seven Deadly Sins and how God's Promises protect us from them. We don't often consider pride a sin but it can get us into trouble when we begin to use it to claim superiority over another. Ages ago, God decided that the best response to sin was love not punishment.  Can that really work for us humans we well? On Sunday (10:30) our worship will celebrate that God promises us love even when we don't deserve it.  All Welcome!

Heart Lake United Church is a model of diversity living in harmony.  Our congregation includes individuals of all ages, genders, races, and religious experiences.  Everyone is important to Christ so everyone is important to us.  We all belong.  Heart Lake United Church reaches out through various programs and there is something for everyone.

On Sunday mornings we worship with inspiring singing led by our music team, sermons that make the Bible relevant to today, and through sincere prayer.  We have a BLAST program for younger kids and SURGE program for youth. Our infants and toddlers are cared for by a trained ECE worker.
